Privacy Policy

Us. is a private space for two people. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and the choices you have. The short version: your data is shared with exactly one person — your partner — and with no one else. We show no ads, we sell no data, and we track nobody.

Data we collect

• Account: your email address, a display name, and a password (stored as a secure hash), or your Apple ID identifier if you use Sign in with Apple.
• Content you create: journal entries, photos, milestones, quiz and game answers. These are visible to you and your partner only.
• Location (optional): if you and your partner both turn on location sharing, your approximate positions are used to show your distance on the map and in widgets. You can turn this off at any time.
• Cycle data (optional): if you enable cycle tracking, the app can read cycle data from Apple Health (with your permission) to show your current phase. It is shared with your partner only if you explicitly turn sharing on.
• Push tokens: a device token so the app can deliver notifications (for example, an "I miss you" from your partner).

What we do NOT do

• No advertising, no ad networks, no third-party analytics.
• No selling, renting, or sharing of your data with third parties.
• No tracking across other apps or websites.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored on our server infrastructure (hosted on Railway) and is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Photos and journal content are retained until you delete them or delete your account.

Payments

The optional Us. Premium subscription is processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual journal entries and photos in the app. Deleting your account from the app's Settings removes your account and the content you authored from our servers. You can also email us to request deletion.

Children

Us. is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
